A METEOROLOGICAL REPORT, 2017, performance and printed work, Berlin, Germany.

A meteorological report is a collection of words, emerging from the encounter with the the winter landscape of Valdres, Norway. The white light, the glittering ice in the snow, the frozen air.

The observations of the meteorological conditions are based on the sensory experience of the body.

The work is inviting the audience into a space of white, of subtle sounds. Where the frozen snow is cracking when you walk at night, and the stars are sharp dots in the sky.

The book as an object creates another space where the performance can be experienced. It is a sensory journey taking place in the act of reading, looking, and turning the pages. The change in weight and texture of the pages creates a rhythm that echoes the passing of the days, and becomes felt in the act of touching and turning the pages with the hand. The blank space around and in-between the words, allows them to breathe and resonate. Blank spaces that open up for individual imagination.
